The Finnish steamship SS Wirma is a documented underwater wreck located in the North Sea at coordinates 53 59.5 N, 7 6 E. Originally sunk in January 1942, the vessel was initially identified with its stern projecting above the water surface. Subsequent hydrographic surveys revised the wreck position to 53 59.5 N, 7 6 E, establishing a least depth of 14 meters over the obstruction. Historically marked by fishing buoys to warn mariners, the wreck was later classified as dead and removed from active navigational charts. Today, the SS Wirma remains a historical underwater feature in the German Bight region of the North Sea.
