Wreck Details for Will and Maggie located in the North Sea off the coast of Norfolk at coordinates 52 36.194 N, 2 10.887 E. The wreck known as Will and Maggie was originally reported as a sinking at 52 36.10 N, 02 11.00 E. Historical records from the UK Hydrographic Office indicate the status of the wreck has undergone multiple reviews over the decades. Despite appearing on German and Netherlands North Sea wreck charts as a non-dangerous wreck (NDW) in early records, subsequent modern surveys have failed to confirm its existence. HMS Bulldog conducted an intensive sonar and echo sounder search in 1969 without success, resulting in the wreck being classified as dead. Further surveys by Gardline in 1994 and a multibeam (M/B) dataset review in 2017 also failed to locate any structural remains or debris at the recorded site. Consequently, the wreck of Will and Maggie is now considered non-found and is not currently recognized as an active underwater obstruction in official maritime datasets for these North Sea coordinates.
