The shipwreck Vulcan located at coordinates 54 54.16 N, 6 18.12 E is officially recorded as a non dangerous wreck and not an obstruction to navigation in the North Sea. Historical hydrographic survey data from the UK Hydrographic Office notes that this underwater obstruction has appeared on various international maritime charts including Danish fisheries chart 5404 and Netherlands chart 1037. Although previously tracked by hydrographic authorities, subsequent German chart revisions resulted in its deletion from official mapping.
