Underwater wreck Vencedor Platense located at coordinates 34 31.293 S 58 14.003 W in the Rio de la Plata estuary near Buenos Aires Argentina. This underwater obstruction is officially recorded by the UK Hydrographic Office and is marked on nautical chart BA 3561. The site is identified by two danger buoys consisting of a lit buoy flashing every 8 seconds positioned to the WNW and an unlit conical buoy positioned to the ESE of the wreck. Historical survey data indicates the wreck has undergone multiple position revisions since 1943 and currently sits within a designated maritime hazard area. Mariners are advised to exercise caution when navigating this sector of the Rio de la Plata due to the presence of this submerged structural obstruction.
