Simplified Wreck Survey

UK Hydrographic Office survey records for shipwreck U 37 located at coordinates 51 04 N, 01 47.92 E in the North Sea off the southeast coast of England detail its historical charting status. Initial hydrographic reports from September 1979 noted a depth of 20 meters at position 51 04.03 N, 01 48.01 E. Subsequent updates in December 1981 classified the obstruction as dangerous with a position doubtful at 51 04.03 N, 01 48.00 E, later adjusted to 51 03.58 N, 01 48.01 E. By July 1985, the wreck was officially removed from navigational charts and classified as dead following a Notice to Mariners update.
