The shipwreck Taurus is an underwater obstruction located off the east coast of Scotland in the North Sea at coordinates 56 49.407 N, 2 9.513 W. Sunk on August 15, 1941, the site has a general seabed depth of 150 to 180 feet. Historical hydrographic surveys note that the wreck was not found during sonar sweeps in 1967 and 2008, and the exact remains are currently unverified or deleted from standard charts.

FOUR BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE PORT HARCOURT FOR HULL. WAS TAKEN IN TOW BY HMS TARANTELLA BUT WAS SUBJECTED TO FURTHER AIR ATTACK. ABANDONED BY CREW AND SANK. (SIBI).
