Underwater Wreck Survey Details: Located at coordinates 50 15.848 N, 5 32.474 W off the coast of Cornwall, United Kingdom, this historic shipwreck rests on a shingle seabed surrounded by rocky outcrops. The well-broken wreck lies in a general depth of 27.5 meters with a least multibeam depth of 24.17 meters. Structural descriptions note dimensions of approximately 24.5 meters in length and 14.6 meters in width, standing up to 3.33 meters high. Key features include upright boilers measuring 6.5 feet in diameter with nearby engines, acting as the highest point of the remains. Artifacts recovered from the site, including a telegraph and a ship's wheel bearing the manufacturer inscription P D Jollet & L Babin, Constructeurs, Nantes, confirm the vessel was of French build. Further exploration identified coal briquettes and a strong magnetic anomaly across the site.
