The shipwreck known as ST PHILLIPE is located in the English Channel west of Guernsey at coordinates 49 24.84 N, 3 2.78 W. Historical records indicate the vessel sank west of the Guernsey coastline during World War I. While initial hydrographic surveys identified the obstruction at various depths and positions, the site was officially cleared from nautical charts in 2005 following international maritime survey updates. Historical data previously referenced the ST PHILLIPE as an underwater wreck situated in the waters surrounding the Channel Islands.
