Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck identified as SP 10 is located at coordinates 35 09.75 S, 56 15.25 W within the Rio de la Plata estuary near the Buenos Aires coast. Historically documented as a wreck site following dispersal operations, the vessel was refloated in April 1973. Originally marked by an occulting green light buoy positioned 700 meters north of the Practicos Recalada light vessel, the site was officially cleared and the navigational warning canceled following the successful salvage of the obstruction. This historical wreck data is recorded under UK Hydrographic Office references H934/65 and H2761/69.
