Simplified Wreck Survey
The Silver Harvester is an underwater wreck located off the east shore of Bazaruto Island in Mozambique, at coordinates 21 44.6 S, 35 28 E. Capsized and sunk in October 1968, the vessel lies in approximately 30 feet of water, 200 to 300 yards from the island's eastern shore. Divers located the wreck and reported that the vessel rolled over, breaking off both masts, the wheelhouse, funnel, and upper decking. The hull is open to the sea and is settling into the sand.

LYING IN ABOUT 30FT OF WATER, 200-300YDS FROM E SHORE OF BAZARUTO IS. (LL 194). STS. NCA. 29.3.94 DIVERS REPORT VESSEL PROBABLY ROLLED OVER BREAKING OFF BOTH MASTS, WHEELHOUSE, FUNNEL & UPPER DECKING. HULL IS OPEN TO SEA & FILLING WITH/SETTLING IN SAND. (LL 29.10.68). INS AS NDWPA. NC 2931.
