Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Seniority is located off the coast of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, at the coordinates 56 57.561 N, 7 24.802 W. This maritime obstruction consists of a significantly broken-up wreck lying in approximately 19.4 meters of water. Originally sunk in November 1950, hydrographic surveys and diving expeditions have confirmed the remains include identifiable features such as the bow and boilers. Modern bathymetric data indicates the wreck measures 100 meters in length and 30 meters in width, with a total height of 6.6 meters and a least depth clearance of 9.8 meters. The structure lies on an orientation of 050/230 degrees with the bow facing northeast and shows evidence of a 1.2-meter scour along the northern side. Detailed sonar and diving examinations confirm the vessel remains in a very broken-up state on the seabed.
