Underwater wreck details for SEA INSPECTOR (PROBABLY) located near the Belize Barrier Reef. The wreck is situated on the reef edge between the wreck of the HYBUR and Half-Moon Cay, positioned approximately 135 degrees from Hat Cay. This underwater obstruction is reported to be approximately 100 feet long and is described as very firmly lodged on the reef edge. Historical surveying data from the UK Hydrographic Office and other naval records have recorded various positional fixes for this wreck, with the primary coordinates identified as 17 9.3 N, 87 35.75 W. These geographical coordinates place the wreckage within the waters of the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Belize. Multiple hydrographic surveys and astronomical observations conducted between 1977 and 1989 have refined the location of this submerged structure, which remains a known navigational hazard in the region.
