The shipwreck known as the SCOTIA is an intact, upright trawler located in the North Sea off the coast of England, near Spurn Head. The wreck is situated at coordinates 53 38.639 N, 0 43.601 E. Recent surveys confirm the vessel measures approximately 24.5 meters in length, 6.5 meters in width, and stands 2.4 meters high from the seabed. The wreck lies at a depth of 24.49 meters within a general water depth of 27 meters and is oriented on a 005/185 degree axis. Underwater examinations confirm the structure is largely intact with identified collision damage on the port bow, and the boiler and engine remains are clearly visible. A second, separate trawler wreck is located approximately 400 yards to the southwest.
