Simplified Wreck Survey

The UK Hydrographic Office wreck survey for the Sarah Jayne located at coordinates 51 28.719 N, 1 23.949 E in the Thames Estuary and coastal waters off Kent reveals a surveyed underwater obstruction examined on 21 June 2001. The site features a least echo sounder depth of 11.6 meters within a general surrounding depth of 20 meters. Divers originally confirmed the vessel was sitting upright and intact before it was successfully salvaged two weeks later, leaving the surrounding area clear as documented in a Port of London Authority wreck report dated 3 June 2004, and the obstruction was never officially charted.
