Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck Salybia is located off the coast of Dungeness in the English Channel at coordinates 50 52.536 N, 0 53.401 E. Sunk during World War I, this historic shipwreck site was investigated by hydrographic surveys including HMS Beagle, though subsequent multibeam sonar data from Gardline Geosurvey found no visible obstruction on the smooth seabed, leading to its classification as dead or non-dangerous with no archaeological remains currently detected.
