The SS Saltersgate is a historic blockship wreck located off the coast of Arromanches, France, in the English Channel. Situated at coordinates 49 21.265 N, 0 36.872 W, this vessel was intentionally scuttled as part of the Gooseberry breakwater for the Mulberry Harbour during the Second World War. Today, the site remains a significant underwater obstruction, consisting of a heavily degraded, well-broken welded steel hull. While the original filing position was recorded as 49 21.195 N, 0 36.475 W, the current survey coordinates of 49 21.265 N, 0 36.872 W define this wreckage as a structural relic of the D-Day landings.
