Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Rubio is located off the coast of Orfordness in the North Sea at coordinates 52 5.363 N, 1 45.392 E. Initially reported as a sinking position in 2018 near Lowestoft and the Shipwash Lightvessel, the wreck was subsequently dispersed by Trinity House later that year. Multiple hydrographic surveys conducted by vessels including HMS Bulldog, HMS Beagle, and Gardline between 1972 and 2016 failed to locate any remaining obstruction, recording a clear seabed depth of 52 feet at LWST, and the site is now amended as a dead or non-existent wreck on nautical charts.
