The shipwreck of the Ross Khartoum is located off the coast of Balmedie Beach, approximately 8 miles north of Aberdeen, Scotland, with the exact coordinates 57 16.337 N, 2 1.099 W. Originally running ashore on December 23, 1980, the vessel was declared a constructive total loss in February 1981. Historical reports and photographs show the complete vessel settled deep into the sands in an upright position.
