Following its sinking, the position of the wreck was confirmed at a depth of approximately 1380 meters. The site is characterized by deep-water conditions and experiences a tidal stream flowing at 094 degrees at a speed of 0.3 knots. Due to the extreme depth of the seabed in this location, the wreck of the RMAS Agile is considered too deep to be marked on standard nautical charts.
