24.6.26 BUILT 1856 AT BIDEFORD. ON PASSAGE BRIDWATER TO DUBLIN. SANK ABOUT 2M SE OF PORTHCAWL GAS BUOY, AFTER TAKING IN WATER AND LOSING MIZEN MAST IN SUDDEN HEAVY SQUALL. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THOMAS J HUTCHINS, APPLEDORE. CREW RESCUED. (LL, 24.6.26 & SIBI)
