Official UK Hydrographic Office records show this maritime obstruction was initially reported in April 1942 and designated with positional accuracy remarks as PA. Over subsequent decades, survey updates from Admiralty and French wreck records led to position amendments in 1955 and 1973. By July 1992, the wreck was removed from charts and classified as dead, a status officially confirmed as non-valid by French wreck records in February 1998.
