18.12.1943 VESSEL, BUILT 1927 & TAKEN INTO SERVICE 1932. LEFT ALGIERS ON 18.12.1943 WITH 74 MEN INCLUDING THREE SAILORS FROM THE ROYAL NAVY. NO MORE WAS HEARD OF HER. IT WAS BELIEVED SHE WAS DEPTH CHARGED BY GERMAN PATROL VESSELS OFF MARSEILLES. (NAVY NEWS, NOV'96 & THE FRENCH NAVY).
