Simplified Wreck Survey
The wreck known as PESK-COAT was located at coordinates 49 6.14 N, 3 2.838 W in the English Channel off the coast of France near Cherbourg. Initial surveying reports confirmed the vessel sank in the area, with subsequent investigations identifying it as a wreck covered by over 20 meters of water. Later surveys described the site as containing small foul ground, including a piece of wreckage retrieved from a fishing net believed to be a rail from the vessel. Due to its condition as a broken, non-dangerous obstruction and lack of recent confirmation, the wreck was officially deleted from hydrographic records in July 2009.
