Simplified Wreck Survey

This UK Hydrographic Office survey record documents an unnamed underwater shipwreck located in the Bay of Biscay off the western coast of France at coordinates 46 36.2 N, 3 43.1 W (46°36'18"N, 003°43'00"W). First documented in French wreck records in 1988, the site was identified as a non-dangerous wreck (NDW) with an approximate position resting at a seabed depth of 120 meters. The obstruction was subsequently charted on French nautical chart 6990 before being reassessed under French Notice to Mariners 93 41 24. In October 1996, hydrographic authorities deleted the active listing and amended its status to dead, indicating that the site is no longer monitored as an active navigational hazard.
