Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction located at 50 16.212 N, 5 21.147 W near the Cornish coast. Originally identified as a potential wreck, this seabed feature was investigated by divers on August 26, 2016, and confirmed to be a large natural rock formation rather than a shipwreck. The underwater obstruction is a single, firm contact lying at an orientation of 070/250 degrees. Survey data indicates the formation has a least multibeam depth of 24.46 meters in an area with a general depth of 25.6 meters. Measuring 3.2 meters in length, 2.7 meters in width, and 1.19 meters in height, the feature shows no scour marks. Due to the dive survey, the status has been amended to dead in hydrographic records.
