Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck survey report for the obstruction located at coordinates 51 0.985 N, 1 10.998 E in the English Channel. Historical survey records indicate this site was originally identified as a sunken wreck with a sonar height of 1.9 meters and a general depth of 24 meters. Early investigation by HMS Bulldog suggested the structure was likely an old wreck significantly buried in the seabed, as subsequent echo sounder readings failed to produce a definitive contact. Later surveys conducted in 2001 using magnetometer and DCS3 equipment failed to relocate the obstruction, and high-resolution multibeam datasets from 2016 confirm no further action (NFA) is required. The site is currently classified as dead and not of navigational significance. While historical charts previously identified the position as a wreck with a depth of 22.1 meters, current hydrographic data indicates no remaining structural evidence at this location.
