Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Wreck Survey Details: Located at coordinates 50 29.214 N, 0 44.923 W off the southern coast of England in the English Channel, this definite underwater wreck was first located in 1976 and further examined in 2003 and 2018. The seabed in the area is flat and sedimentary with general depths around 43.5 to 44 meters. The structure is well broken up, split in two, and sits upright on the seabed. Recent multibeam surveys record a least depth of 37.83 meters, a length of 52.6 meters, a width of 10.5 meters, and a height of 6.2 meters, with the bow oriented towards 035 degrees featuring a nearby protruding structure, possibly a boiler.
