Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at coordinates 49 21.722 N, 0 45.03 W off the coast of Normandy near Port-en-Bessin, France. This underwater obstruction, initially identified via sonar return, stands 0.6 meters above the seabed. The site was surveyed in December 1993 and appears as two distinct parts on echosounder readings. Situated in general depths of 11.7 meters on the leading line into Port-en-Bessin, this wreck is noted for its historical significance regarding D-Day overlays. The structure remains partially surveyed and is cataloged for navigational charting purposes.
