Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction located at 49 21.177 N, 0 42.473 W situated in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy France. This site was identified as a magnetic anomaly during a December 1993 survey and is currently noted for D-Day historical mapping overlays. The obstruction is found in a general water depth of 5 meters. Historical survey data suggests a doubtful echo sounder reading and the site has not been fully surveyed to confirm the presence of structural remains such as welded steel or wreckage. This position is maintained for filing purposes and remains absent from specific French nautical charts.
