Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck details located at coordinates 32 56.306 N, 13 11.934 E in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Libya. This submerged obstruction is identified as a rectangular intact object, likely a pontoon. Survey data indicates the wreck lies at a least multibeam depth of 27.59 meters within an area of general water depth of 29 meters. The structure measures approximately 44 meters in length and 14 meters in width, with a height of 2.4 meters. The wreck is oriented on a 162/342 degree heading. This underwater hazard was originally reported by the French Navy ship Cephee and further investigated by HMS Echo. Ongoing monitoring confirms the wreck remains in situ as a navigational obstruction.
