Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck and obstruction data for the Barents Sea near the coast of the Kola Peninsula, Russia. Historical survey data indicates an underwater obstruction located at coordinates 68 57.658 N, 33 2.395 E. Originally identified as a wreck with a width of 10 meters and a least depth of 1 meter between coordinates 68 57.623 N, 33 02.483 E and 68 57.647 N, 33 02.542 E, subsequent surveys in September 2011 reclassified the site as an obstruction with a least depth of 3.8 meters at 68 57.648 N, 33 02.585 E. Following a formal hydrographic review, the original 1-meter depth wreck designation was removed from nautical charts for this Barents Sea location.
