Underwater Obstruction Report located in the Mediterranean Sea near the coast of France. This underwater hazard is recorded as an Obstruction Area (OBSTN) with a minimum clearance depth of 8 meters (USC 8MTRS). The obstruction is centered at the coordinates 42 37.363 N, 3 4.248 E. Historically documented as a former fish haven, the site is now charted as an area of obstructions that may be covered by as little as 8 meters of water. Mariners should note that the previous surface marker buoy is no longer in position. This navigation hazard is referenced in French Chart 6843 and remains a critical point for vessels transiting these coastal waters. Updated site data confirms the obstruction area coordinates as 42 37.363 N, 03 04.252 E.
