Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction discovered at 11 55.42 N, 50 35.44 E located in the Gulf of Aden near the coast of Somalia. The wreckage is 63 meters in length and lies in a 129/309 degree orientation. The structure is described as upright and intact with the bows pointing southeast. This maritime obstruction was reported in September 2013 and is documented as a submerged target in the UK Hydrographic Office records. Current survey data indicates the wreck site remains a navigational hazard for vessels transiting these coordinates.
