Simplified Wreck Survey

An unidentified underwater wreck is situated in the North Sea off the coast of Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at coordinates 56 58.36 N, 1 30.024 W. Detailed hydrographic surveys conducted by Gardline Hydro using DGPS confirmed the site features an intact vessel resting upright on the seabed. The wreck structure measures 34 meters in length, 9 meters in width, and stands 6.5 meters high in a general water depth of 68.4 meters, with a minimum multibeam clearance depth of 61.96 meters. Oriented along a 150 to 330 degree heading with its bow facing southeast, the site shows a 1 meter deep scour extending 4.4 meters from its southeast end and produces a weak magnetic anomaly. Officially indexed by the UK Hydrographic Office, this submerged obstruction remains a noted maritime feature off the Scottish coast.
