Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Obstruction Report off the Coast of Gorleston Road at Coordinates 52 33.185 N, 1 45.22 E. Historical records note an anchor fouled on a length of old chain cable measuring approximately 20-25mm, which was subsequently cleared and dropped at this location by the MV Hoo Moss. Later magnetometer surveys located magnetic anomalies, but subsequent multibeam bathymetric surveys confirmed the obstruction was not observed and is now designated as dead or cleared.
