Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck or obstruction located at 50 42.834 N, 1 24.719 W in the English Channel near the Isle of Wight. This maritime feature was historically identified as a 12-meter long steel structure or container lying in a north-south orientation, originally discovered via aerial photography. The site was subsequently investigated and surveyed by the UK Hydrographic Office. Please note that official maritime records dated February 2012 indicate this obstruction has been deleted from nautical charts and is now classified as dead or removed. Mariners should be aware that this specific underwater location is no longer charted as an active hazard.
