Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck and obstruction data located near the coast of Greece near Pondiko Nisi. The surveyed position of the obstruction is 39 4.906 N, 23 12.205 E. Historical records from the UK Hydrographic Office and Greek notices indicate this site has been classified as a dangerous wreck and later a non-dangerous wreck with the position approximate. The site was investigated by HMS Scarborough in 1972 with no sonar contact made. Recent updates from 2016 repositioned the charted non-dangerous wreck in the vicinity of the Aegean Sea. Users searching for navigational hazards or maritime wrecks in these coordinates should note the status is recorded as a non-dangerous obstruction with an approximate position.
