Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Wreck Survey Report: Located in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland, this significant submerged obstruction is situated at coordinates 56 10.462 N, 1 12.384 W. Originally surveyed in 2007, the site contains a large, degraded shipwreck that has collapsed fore and aft of the midsection. The wreck lies at an orientation of 175/355 degrees with the bow facing north. It sits at a general depth of 61.8 meters, with a least depth of 55.6 meters measured via multibeam sonar. The structure measures approximately 70 meters in length and 13 meters in width, with a total height of 6.2 meters. A 2-meter deep scour extends 7 meters to the north of the bow. The site exhibits a large magnetic anomaly and is littered with numerous items of wreckage, including fishing gear and rigging. An anchor cable and additional fishing debris extend 120 meters southwest from the midsection, looping back to the stern area. This shipwreck is documented under UK Hydrographic Office surveying records as a known navigation hazard.
