Simplified Wreck Survey

UKHO wreck survey details for ORIOLE located at coordinates 51 9.8 N, 1 50.92 E off the coast of the United Kingdom. Historical survey records from December 1981 initially reported the underwater obstruction as an unexamined submarine contact with a depth of 20 meters. Subsequent hydrographic surveys in September 1985 classified the site as a submerged wreck covered by less than 20 meters of water. By July 1986, further searches failed to locate the obstruction, and the record was officially deleted and amended to dead.
