12.2.09 BUILT IN 1882 BY SHORT BROS, SUNDERLAND. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY JAMES DICKINSON & CO. ONE BOILER, COMPOUND EXPANSION ENGINE, SINGLE SHAFT. MACHINERY BY J DICKINSON & CO, SUNDERLAND. PASSAGE SOUTHAMPTON FOR BLYTHE. SAILED 12.2.09 AND WAS LAST SEEN OFF THE OWERS THAT NIGHT. POSTED MISSING AFTER OT ARRIVING IN BLYTHE. CONCLUDED BY LLOYDS THAT SHE SANK FOLLOWING COLLISION WITH NORWEGIAN BARQUE INGA, WHICH REPORTED A SERIOUSLY DAMAGED BOW AFTER COLLIDING WITH AN UNKNOWN SS. (DIVER MAGAZINE).
