BUILT IN 1913 BY CAMPBELTOWN SHIPBUILDING CO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY A HOLLND & CO, LONDON. THREE BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 327 NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE ROSAIRO FOR BELFAST. FIRED UPON BY U-84 AND ATTEMPTED TO EVADE CAPTURE. AFTER TWO HITS THE ENGINE STOPPED AND THE VESSEL WAS TORPEDOED. 18 MEN LOST. (SIBI).
