PASSAGE BOMBAY AND TABLE BAY FOR LONDON. SHE WAS IN A CONVOY OF 52 SHIPS WHEN SHE WAS TORPEDOED AND SUNK BY GERMAN SUBMARINE U124 ABOUT 400M W OF CAPE BLANCO. 19 OF 127 CREW LOST.
