The shipwreck Nagroor III is located at coordinates 7 30 N, 12 45 W, situated on the coastline approximately 15 miles east of Cape St Ann near Sherbro Island in Sierra Leone. Recorded as a sunken vessel, the wreck lies broadside to the beach within the surf line. The site has been subjected to significant structural degradation, including heavy wave action, continuous pounding by surf, and the looting of portable equipment. Historical reports confirm the vessel was abandoned by its crew following an incident on the sand, with internal sections including the engine room and fish-hold partially flooded. As of the latest survey update, the wreck remains in its position off the coast of Sherbro Island for navigational record purposes.
