The wreck of the vessel MUTUALISTE is located at coordinates 45 40.05 N, 1 11 W in the Bay of Biscay off the coast of France near Pointe de la Coubre. Historically recorded under survey references H6447/26 and H8479/33, the obstruction was originally identified as a dangerous wreck marked by a conical buoy. Subsequent hydrographic surveys, including record H861/48, indicate that the site has been cleared or amended to a dead status. While earlier reports classified the MUTUALISTE as a dangerous underwater obstruction, current maritime charts no longer list it as a navigational hazard for vessels in these coastal waters.
