VESSEL, BUILT 1948, WAS BOMBED, SET ON FIRE AND SUNK DURING AN INDIAN AIR FORCE RAID ON THE PORT OF CHALNA. 11 LIVES LOST. THE WRECK, WHICH WAS LYING BROKEN IN TWO, WAS SUBSEQUENTLY REMOVED AND DEMOLISHED. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY GULF SHIPPING CORP. LTD. (MSD).
