Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck MONTIEL is located in the waters of the Rio de la Plata estuary near Buenos Aires at coordinates 34 23.4 S, 58 32.3 W. Originally recorded as a submerged hazard marked by a green flashing light buoy, historical hydrographic records from the UK Hydrographic Office confirm that the wreck of the MONTIEL was successfully salvaged and the marker buoy removed.
