Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck MONTCALM was a recorded underwater obstruction historically located in the North Sea off the coast of Denmark near Blaavand. The wreck coordinates were identified at 57 11.753 N, 008 23.252 E. Initial survey data from 1991 indicated a submerged wreck with an estimated least depth of 11.75 meters in an area with general surrounding depths of 20 to 22 meters. The site was previously marked by West Cardinal and East Cardinal buoys for maritime safety. According to official UK Hydrographic Office and Danish maritime records, the wreck MONTCALM was officially removed and all navigational buoys were withdrawn by November 1993. The site is no longer considered an active underwater obstruction or navigational hazard.
