VESSEL REPORTED TO BE SET ALIGHT & SCUTTLED BY HER CREW IN SALDANHA BAY TO AVOID CAPTURE BY AN ENGLISH SQUADRON. SHE WAS CARRYING A PRICELESS COLLECTION OF CHINA FROM THE CHI'EN LUNG PERIOD (1736-1795), INCLUDING EIGHT FIGURINES OF GREAT BEAUTY RECOVERED BY DIVERS IN 1971. (SA PILOT, VOL.2, PAGE 131)
