The underwater wreck MHAIGHDEAN HEARRACH is located at coordinates 58 11.546 N, 6 21.986 W off the coast of the Isle of Lewis near Stornoway, Scotland. Historical survey data from the UK Hydrographic Office originally identified the wreck as a 5.5 meter obstruction situated near Arnish Point Lighthouse. Following maritime salvage operations recorded in 1969, the MHAIGHDEAN HEARRACH vessel was successfully raised and refloated, and the obstruction was subsequently removed from official navigational charts.
