Wreck of the vessel MELLO located off the coast of Morocco near the mouth of Oued Mellah, 1.5 miles west of Mohammedia. The wreck position is recorded at coordinates 33 42.115 N, 007 24.900 W. Historical survey data includes a filing position amendment to 33 42.275 N, 07 25.000 W. This underwater obstruction is officially noted as dead and is not currently displayed on French nautical charts 7551 or electronic navigational charts (ENC). The wreck site remains a point of interest for maritime records near the Moroccan coastline.

RAN AGROUND, IN THICK FOG, ON ROCKS AT MOUTH OF OUED MELLAH, 1.5M W OF MOHAMMEDIA. ALL CREW RESCUED. ABANDONED AS CTL. (MSD).
